Philadelphia is gearing up to make history this weekend with the return of Philly Flannel Fest. Last year, this cozy celebration welcomed over 1,000 flannel-clad guests. This year, it’s going even more significant as it sets out to break the Guinness World Record for the largest flannel gathering!
Philly Flannel Fest promises a day packed with fun, food, and festivities. Guests can enjoy various activities, including live music, DJs, local wines, and delicious food from multiple vendors. The event also features a marketplace with unique crafts, clothing, and gifts, making it a perfect spot for early holiday shopping.
The gathering will be held on Sunday, November 3, from 12 PM to 5 PM at The Braid Mill, 346 E Walnut Lane, Philadelphia. Rain or shine, indoors or outdoors, the event will be on, and it’s designed to be family-friendly and fully accessible. Service pets are welcome, ensuring everyone can join in the record-breaking fun.
Local DJ djmythai will keep the crowd energized. From 12 PM to 1:30 PM, children can enjoy a special book reading by John W. Butler, the founder of Chase Books. The event is supported by Germantown CDC. Organizers are encouraging attendees to dress in their best flannel and help set a new world record.
