At just 25 years old, Diamond Alexus is proving that dreams really can come true. She is the founder of Warm Pages, a bookstore café dedicated to celebrating and uplifting Black women through literature, culture, and community.

For as long as she can remember, Diamond has loved books. But as a young Black woman, she noticed something missing when she went to bookstores—she didn’t always see stories that reflected her life, her culture, and the voices of Black women. That realization turned into her lifelong dream: to create a space where Black women could feel seen, valued, and inspired.

Now, that dream is alive with Warm Pages. The online store, found at warmpages.com, already offers a wide collection of books written by and for Black women. But Diamond’s vision doesn’t stop there. She is now working to open a physical location in St. Louis, Missouri, that will be more than just a bookstore. She plans to make it a welcoming café and community hub—a place where people can gather, connect, and celebrate Black women’s stories.

“Warm Pages is not just about selling books,” Diamond shared. “It’s about building a community that honors and supports Black women. It’s about creating a safe and warm space where our voices are centered.”
