Black-Owned Venture Capital Firm KZFV Makes $50M

Southwest Michigan has reached a major milestone with the launch of Kalamazoo Forward Ventures, the region’s first Black-owned venture capital firm. KZFV has made a bold entrance with a $50 million capital commitment, promising transformative support for innovation and entrepreneurship.

The firm was founded by seven accomplished men from Michigan who are deeply connected to their community. Their shared vision is to uplift Kalamazoo and the surrounding areas by empowering underrepresented entrepreneurs.
