17-Year-Old Girl Opens Her Own Vegan Bakery in Harlem, New York

Harlem, New York — Meet Nylah, a 17-year-old girl who just opened her own vegan bakery in the heart of Harlem. Her business, Nyla’s Petite Bakery, is already turning heads and hearts with its delicious, plant-based treats.

At an age when most teens are thinking about college or part-time jobs, Nylah decided to follow her passion for baking. She started experimenting with vegan recipes at home and soon realized there was a big need for tasty, animal-free desserts in her community.

From cupcakes and cookies to beautifully decorated cakes, everything at Nyla’s Petite Bakery is made with love—and without any dairy, eggs, or animal products. Her goal? To show that you don’t have to give up flavor or fun when you choose vegan.

“I wanted to create something sweet that everyone could enjoy,” Nylah says. “Even if you’re not vegan, you’ll still love what we bake!”

Nylah’s journey hasn’t been easy. Starting a business at just 17 takes courage, hard work, and strong support. But with the help of her family and her own determination, she turned her dream into reality. Now, she hopes to inspire other young people to believe in themselves and chase their goals.

Her online shop is live now at Nyla’s Petite Bakery, where you can order her amazing baked goods. And yes, she ships too!

Let’s support this young entrepreneur and share her story. Follow her page @nylaspetitebakery and show some love for her mission to make the world a little sweeter—one vegan dessert at a time.
