She has collaborated with other strong women to start the journey for the Visionary Vibes Fashion Show and Launch Party, which is a testament to this mission. For Marquita, this event is not just about showcasing fashion but about shining a spotlight on the incredible talent and creativity within the minority business community.

Inspired by her own journey and the support she has received, Marquita aims to create a platform where diverse, culturally owned businesses can thrive. Marquita started Glamour 4 Eyes and Visionary Vibes to help others see the world glamorously, inspired by her love for Jehovah God and her two amazing girls, who motivate her every day. That same inspiration motivated her to start publishing her first children’s book, “Through My Glasses: A Journey of Self-Love.” This heartfelt story was inspired by her desire to help children embrace their uniqueness and cultivate self-love. The book is available now for pre-order and set to release in October 2024, this book is a labor of love and a reflection of her commitment to empowering the next generation.
