Ten years ago, a young girl and her mother embarked on a mission to tackle a common parental headache: vanishing hair barrettes. Abby Goodwin, a mere seven-year-old at the time, conceived an idea that revolutionized the hair care industry. Together with her mother, they birthed Gabby Bows, a hair care brand, the world’s first patented double-face, double-snap barrette. This ingenious design, born out of a child’s frustration, was engineered to stay put, putting an end to the exasperating problem of lost barrettes.

Now 17, Abby and her mother have grown their business into a successful brand that sells the original Gabby Bows and a line of plant-based, all-natural hair care products. These products are designed to make hair styling more accessible for young girls and keep their hair healthy and looking great.

Gabby Bows has expanded its reach, selling its products worldwide and in all 50 states. Their story is an inspiring example of a young entrepreneur and her mother turning a small idea into a thriving business that continues to make a difference in the lives of many families.
