Brooklyn, NY — A married couple in Brooklyn is celebrating the first anniversary of their trailblazing venture, Kravings Kafe 2D, the first-ever 2D cafe in Brooklyn. Located at 2171 Utica Avenue, Kravings Kafe 2D is more than a café; it’s an immersive art experience, bringing unique treats and a distinct, hand-drawn decor style to the local community.

The café is known for its delicious menu items, including rolled ice cream, smoothies, acai bowls, and waffle sticks—all crafted with fresh, preservative-free ingredients. Over the past year, Kravings Kafe 2D has quickly become a beloved spot for Brooklyn locals, offering a unique atmosphere where every corner looks straight out of a comic book. This unique design adds an extra layer to the experience, making each visit memorable.

However, like many small businesses, especially those owned by Black entrepreneurs, Kravings Kafe 2D faces challenges in staying open. Despite the couple’s dedication and community support, the café is struggling financially and is now reaching out to its customers for help. This first 2D cafe in Brooklyn is open Tuesday through Thursday from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. It’s closed on Mondays.
