Toni Estell Worked 70+ Hours a Week Finds Healing and Now Helping Others

toni estell

Toni Estell knows what it feels like to carry the weight of the world on your shoulders. For years, she worked 70+ hour weeks while leading her school through a major crisis. To everyone around her, she was “the strong one” — the leader who kept everything together no matter how heavy the burden. But behind the scenes, the pressure nearly broke her.

Toni pushed herself so hard that she became completely burnt out. The endless hustle, the constant pressure to perform, and the heavy responsibility of caring for others took a toll on her mind, body, and spirit. She was exhausted, depleted, and unsure how much longer she could keep going.

That breaking point became the start of something new. Instead of continuing down the same path, Toni chose healing. She began to slow down, to rest, and to truly take care of herself. Through reflection and renewal, she discovered a new way to live and lead — one that didn’t require her to sacrifice her health and happiness for success.

Now, Toni is on a mission to help other high-achieving Black women do the same. She is the founder of Macaron High, a platform built to support women who are tired of constant hustle culture. Toni believes it’s time for women, especially Black women who often feel the pressure to be “the strong one,” to step into a new season of thriving instead of just surviving.

Through her free virtual pre-book release webinar, Toni is teaching women how to redefine success by focusing on rest, reflection, and renewal. She wants ambitious women to know that success doesn’t have to mean exhaustion — it can also mean peace, joy, and balance.

“Trading hustle for healing is not giving up on your dreams,” Toni says. “It’s choosing a healthier way to reach them.”
