Khadija and Odari Run Black-Owned Plumbing Company In Georgia

plumbing company

In the entire state of Georgia, my brother and sister are running an old black-owned plumbing company. Khadija and Odari Head, the dynamic siblings behind Head’s Plumbing Sales and Service, Inc. They have continued the legacy of their family’s business, making it the oldest and most experienced Black-owned plumbing services company in Georgia.

Their grandfather founded this company in the 1950s. After that, they started to provide plumbing services in Georgia. They promote the services and show love for their grandfather. Khadija aims to promote the importance of trade to the next generation. She believes that learning skilled trades, such as plumbing, offers a valuable career path for young people, especially as traditional jobs evolve. She has made it her mission to encourage Gen Z to consider trade careers where demand is strong, and growth opportunities are plentiful.

On the other hand, Odari was inspired by his grandfather and, in the meantime, was looking for something that he loved to do, so he started this business. Both are great inspirations for Generation Z to kick-start their careers and start winning. Odari grew up watching his grandfather run the business with integrity and is committed to continuing that legacy. He encourages young people to pursue what they love and believe in the power of hard work.

Head’s Plumbing Company Sales and Service, Inc. is not just about fixing pipes and faucets; it’s about a family’s commitment to serving the community and preserving a Black-owned legacy in an industry that has been historically underrepresented. Through their dedication, Khadija and Odari Head are setting an inspiring example for young entrepreneurs, especially within the Black community, to pursue their dreams and create lasting businesses that can thrive for generations.
